FAQ

Questions hockey parents actually ask.

Do viewers need an account?

No. Your player's stats site is a public web page — anyone with the link can open it in a browser, no app and no account.

Does it work with no signal at the rink?

Yes. Every stat is saved on your phone the instant you tap it, and it catches up once you're back online — rinks don't have signal, so the app is built to work without it.

What does it cost?

Tracking in the app is always free. You pay per report — a Player Report or a Team Report — with no subscription and nothing recurring. Beta testers get free report credits.

How long does my stats site stay up?

Three years after your most recent report. Every new report restarts that clock, and we email you before the three years run out. Delete your account and the site comes down within 30 days.

Can strangers find my kid's site on Google?

No. Stats sites are deliberately blocked from search engines, so they shouldn't turn up in a search. A link you share still works for whoever has it.

Who creates the account?

An adult — a parent, coach or team manager. IceStats Pro accounts aren't for kids; the account holder is responsible for the player information they enter.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. The beta is open to testers on both iPhone and Android.

What's the difference between a Player Report and a Team Report?

A Player Report covers one player's stats. A Team Report covers the whole roster — every player on the team.
